Kelly Expunges Theft Conviction
When Kelly’s client walked out of a grocery store with less than $40.00 of goods, he was charged with, and later convicted of, Misdemeanor Theft. The conviction had significant consequences on his life, preventing him from being able to find stable work and housing. After reviewing the case and putting together a strong argument for her client’s rehabilitation, Kelly convinced the prosecutor to agree to an expungement. Having successfully done so, Kelly was able to request an expungement order without a hearing. The expungement was promptly granted, and Kelly’s client can now seek better opportunities for his future.
