Gun Rights Restored for Juvenile Case

When he was just a teenager, Kelly Keegan’s client was adjudicated delinquent for Felony Fifth Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance, after giving friends marijuana from his house. Twenty years later, he discovered the adjudication prohibited him from possessing firearms when he applied for a Permit to Carry. Kelly petitioned the court to restore her client’s right to possess firearms, demonstrating that he had rehabilitated since his offense, and that he was clearly not a threat to public safety. The Court agreed and granted the client’s petition, restoring his right to possess firearms.
