Client with Second Shoplifting Charge Gets Stay of Adjudication

Kelly Keegan’s client returned to her with a second charge for shoplifting in Hennepin County, approximately one year after Kelly had successfully been able to negotiate a continuance for dismissal for the first charge. Despite the prior offense, Kelly was able to negotiate a stay of adjudication for this charge, meaning that after her client successfully completes probation, the charge will be dismissed.
