Keegan Law Office Hiring for Paralegal Position

Keegan Law Office, a Minneapolis private-practice criminal defense firm seeks a driven, organized, detail-oriented paralegal/legal assistant to support two attorneys. Successful candidates have great interpersonal skills to interact with clients of various personalities, proficient use of technology, superb communication and writing skills, the ability to multi-task, and take initiative. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate or commensurate legal experience. 
• Basic knowledge of Minnesota state and federal legal systems. 
• Interest in criminal defense. 

Annual salary commensurate with experience. Health insurance, retirement benefits plus matching employer contribution, and five weeks paid time off per year including sick leave. No overtime, no after business hours. Great walkable uptown Minneapolis office one block from Bde Maka Ska (Lake Calhoun), Lunds Grocery, and the Greenway bike trail, with an outdoor balcony and showering facilities.
